About  me..

My name is Rachel Dampier and I began my floristry journey about seven years ago, when I trained to be a qualified florist by working towards a National Certificate in Floristry. After two years of studying I passed my diploma with distinction and started to gain some work experience within a local florist. During this time, I started to realise that most retail florists create the same designs over and over again from a brochure, which didn’t allow much personal creativity within the role.

This gave myself and another colleague an idea to create a much more personal service within the field, and launched our own Sympathy flower business.

However factors in my personal life (new home/new baby) made me put my floristry ambitions on hold for a while until my own Wedding came around, in which I embarked on the task of doing all my own wedding flowers (of course with some much needed helpers too.) This really ignited my love for Floristry

and was a key factor in setting up a new business on my own, incorporating my love for vintage accessories too!

I also really understand how important selecting Sympathy Flowers are to Families and friends of a loved one, and I like to combine my designs with memories of which you may have of the departed.

Whatever your Floristry needs, I'm always happy to discuss whatever you have in mind regardless of your theme or budget.
